Parylene C : CAS : 28804-46-8

The most commonly used dimer form which is based on the dichloro-di-para-xylylene structure (C16H14Cl2). This dimer variant offers particularly low impermeability to moisture and to gases such as nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide, as well as excellent electrical properties.

Parylene N : CAS : 1633-22-3

This dimer variant is based on the basic di-para-xylylene structure (C16H16) and is particularly capable of penetrating the irregularities of the surface to be treated. This parylene variant is best suited for applications where greater coating protection is needed or where high surface and volume resistivity is desired.
